Light and Dark

September 6 - November 1, 2022

The dichotomy of light and dark as long been a part of our history. We tend to think of  light and dark as opposites, good/bad, day/night and hope/despair.  As light cannot exist without darkness, it is in this duality that we explore the conflicting parts as they intersect each other.

“Look at how a single candle can both defy and define the darkness.” – Anne Frank

"Every moment of light and dark is a miracle." – Walt Whitman

"In order for the light to shine so brightly, the darkness must be present". -Sir Francis Bacon
